From the shop name ”Tossz”, you would have guessed that this place offers food that has something got to do with tossing. That’s right, it’s a salad bar ! Salad bars are one of my favourite places for a quick and healthy lunch. As you know, I love my greens and I would love to explore the various salad bars in Singapore.The various ingredientsI love to see the various ingredients displayed in front of me. The vegetables were so colourful and pleasing to the eyes. One thing for sure, I would NEVER include any nuts/ seeds in my salads!At Tossez, you get to create your own salad / Pre-made selections. First, you would have to choose the base ( Mesclun salad / Romaine / Iceberg ) , choose any add-ins (min 5 ) & finally select the dressing you like. Add $0.30 to make into wraps.My Creation ($9)Mesclun salad as base , add-ins : Carrots, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon chicken slices and mangoes in Sundried tomato vinaigretteFirstly, the mangoes were lumpy, soggy and unfresh . Secondly, the lemon chicken slices were dry and tasteless . Finally, could only see a few strips of sun-dried tomatoes. Compared to other salad bars, I felt that further improvement is required especially the portions and freshness of the ingredients. In addition, the staff seemed to look a little grumpy and displeased.
