Signature Dishes
They dont seems to open in the early morning... instead they are open until evening. I like their yam cake, it is tasty, soft and hot..As for the chee cheong fun, they are very generous with the sauce. The sauce is not too sweet, just nice. And I always like to ask them to put more green spring onion which add nice fragrance to it too. They also sell varieties of rice dumpling, which have generous ingredients and reasonable price. They also sell $2 laksa, taste not bad, and is not easy to find $2 laska anymore.

I happened to be in the area with my mum and sister, they suggest we head to the nearby food centre for lunch. Before we left my mum spotted this stall selling dumpling and decided to grab some before we left. My dad love the nonya dumpling while me and my sister like the one which the big piece of meat, mushroom, salted egg and chestnut one. In the end, my mum bought 4 of each for us for tea. The glutinous rice they used were really sticky, some even sticks to my teeth, but dumplings are meant to be eaten this way. The rice is very soft too and cooked perfectly. For my bak zhang, the bak was very tender and tender, the chestnut was cooked till very soft. Though the mushroom was a little dried up, it was really good and tasty. their dumpling is not too oily too.

the chwee kueh here is considered "healthy" because they do not use oil in their preserved vegetable topping. it is very dry. it's odd if you're used to the oily topping, but it's good if you don't like it oily. i don't like it oily, so i was very surprised this entire packet was not very oily at all. the chwee kueh was not oily either. the kuehs were thick and hearty and not soft and small. not too expensive at $0.50 per big piece. nice service too. recommended. it is not reheated, which is good.

At 4PM on a Sunday, it still yet opens in the middle of the lane where most shops are closed! So anyhow I was thinking that the portion was just right to eat, as I'm not too hungry nor full, just right to fill my tum.I bought the one filled with pork, and well, they do have a name for nothing, the fragrance was really pulling my appetite and it I just have to tell you it's just right for a glutinous rice. Just nice. Where some are really sticky, this one was sticky but then on the inside you could feel the bits of rice where it's not too sticky.
