I am a big fan of pandan cakes and usually I will try all places of pandan cakes which are available for sales. Tried the one sold here and was quite upset with their standard. The cake texture is quite tough and not moist at all. The brown colour outer texture is a bit too light. This version here is also quite sweet and not too fragrant. Really wonder why they are sellling this one of their signature cakes at such a high price. Even the kueh kueh sold here are also quite expensive. continue reading

Tried their kuehs but it's really not recommended. I am surprised at the poor quality of their kuehs, and it's the same throughout the different outlets. It's not sweet enough, not fragrant enough, very greasy and basically quite sickening. I even gave them the benefit of doubt and tried their stuff at different outlets at different times over a span of 2 years. No improvement. It's as bad as the first time i tried their stuff. It's very colourful and pretty but it tastes pretty bad. Even hawker centre makes better stuff. They charge the same price if not more than Bengawan Solo, but their quality is less than half of Bengawan Solo's. Their baked keuh lapis is one of the worst I've ever tried. continue reading

This store offer different types of Indonesia Kuehs Kuehs and are freshly make daily. Tried their Srikaya Steam cake and was not too impress by it. Firstly is too costly as is only around 500gram per whole cake but it already cost $23.50! The cake is moist and thick but not really that fragrant. The outlook doesn't look too good, which quite similar to it's 'so so' taste. Would be good if they can somehow reduce the prices for most of their kuehs kuehs. My verdict: 6/10 continue reading

We had a whole chiffon pandan round-ring cake to be shared between us colleagues. I had a slice of the pastel green, moist and spongy cake and it was really good. I like how it was a great snack that melted in my mouth and that it wasn't too sweet either. I could eat it with my bare hands and easily wipe the little leftover oil stain off my fingers with tissue. It wasn't overdosed with vegetable oil so much that I had to scrub with soap. continue reading
