Signature Dishes
Last weekend, I went to Alexandra ARC and chose to have my lunch at Shin-Sapporo. The restaurant is quite spacious and the ambience is nice. I heard that this ramen stall specialises in miso ramen, however, I didn't really like miso based ramen, so I ordered their tonkotsu reman instead. The tonkotsu ramen is ramen in pork bone soup. It is simmered for 15hours which gives it its rich and strong flavour. As such, the soup is really tasty though it can get too salty towards the end of the bowl. The noodles have some bite in them and I liked the texture a lot. If you like your soup to be more savoury, you can add garlic flakes to the soup for more taste. I also love their lava egg though it is a pity that there is only one half of an egg in the bowl of ramen. My ramen costs $14.80.
