Came here with a girlfriend to have our lunch. This fish soup stall is one of the popular stall in this food centre as quite long queue outside this stall. Service here is also friendly and fast. We have bought the sliced fish soup with rice ($4) and thick beehoon fish soup ($4), which are equally cheap. Fish meat is very fresh and soft in texture. Soupbase was really sweet and fragrant, and not too oily nor salty. Generous amount of lettuce in it which make it really healthy too. continue reading

My friend told me it's a legendary fish soup around in singapore. So i've decided to give it a try.I found that it's the most generous fish soup with lots of sliced fish! Soup base is very tasty and good too! Everything cooked just nice. So the forever long queue at lunch time is worth the wait afterall! It's really ichiban as their signboard says! high recommended! continue reading

This stall has one of the longest queue in this food centre. Happened to be here and decided to join in the queue out of curiosity. Yeah, i have an extreme level of curiosity. I gotten my fish soup with rice after 15 minutes of waiting.Took a sip of the soup and liked it. It was clear with a slight peppery taste with nicely sliced and fresh tasting fish. A generous amount of vegetable and dried chinese seaweed were added to make it a healthier choice. They do have battered fried fish too but it always sold out quite early. I will be back the next time to try it. Recommended. continue reading

It look as though any normal bowl of fish soup. But it'll prove you wrong after your first sip of the broth. The soup tastes so good that I finish it till the very last drop and I strongly believe that they refrain from using any MSG. It was a pure indulge! (Maybe it was due to the rainy day)Fish is tender and you can still taste the sweetness and freshness of it. Downside is they are rather conservative on their fish serving. The tasty broth complements well with the fish and together with a bowl of fragrant pearly rice .Try it. Ichiban! continue reading
