Dined here with family on a Monday evening, so that we do not need to jostle with others, including car park lots. These were the items we ordered :Tomato & Bacon Soup $6.50This was soup of the day. Rich & thick soup, it is so flavourful and chock full of vegetables. While we really enjoyed the soup, we had to stop ourselves from ordering one for each of us, as we wanted to save space for the mains & desserts.Seafood Spaghetti Marinara $19.95This pasta is served with prawns, calamari, crabmeat and olives. They were OK to exclude calamari & olives, which my daughter dislike. Portion was big, taste wise ok, though smell of crabmeat is a little strong.Piglet Pizza $18.50Pizza with ham, mushroom, onions and mozarella cheese. Dough was biscuit-like and thin.Barbequed Baby Ribs $19.95This was about half slab, served with choice of foil-baked potato or fragrant rice. Meat fell off easily from the bones. The downside - not very hot, it was like just warmed from a microwave oven, rather than freshly BBQ'd (or baked in oven) & served piping hot.Pan-Seared Sirloin Steak $24.95This was served with mashed potatoes, topped with roasted field mushrooms and green pepper butter. I asked for medium well, about 70% doneness, but it came out quite rare, still very red inside. Again, this dish was just warm, like it had been left standing for awhile before it was served. While the steak is nothing to shout about, being quite tasteless, if not for the gravy, they were quite generous with the mushrooms. Baileys Me! (for that extra zing) $14.95Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake and French Vanilla ice cream drizzled with Baileys. The Baileys Irish cream was served separately in a small saucer, to be drizzled over the ice cream. The Baileys in the cake is quite discernable. With it's alcohol content, a teetotellar may find it intoxicating. continue reading

My schoolmate and me decided to pop by for a try.All the service crews are foreigners. When my schoolmate saw the rice portion being served by the waiter, we were shocked because it is barely half a bowl of rice. Therefore, we had to order extra bowl of rice.Dirty Rice: Pan-fried rice cook with green peppers, onions and celery.Good food, great service and awesome lunch! Essentially you get what you pay for. continue reading

Having girl’s talk cum farewell dinner at Big O, it was almost full house upon we reached. Cheerful ambiance and lively music surrounding, the casual concept created a vibrant flow of energy throughout the restaurant. How come it named as Big O? I have no idea, but obviously overshadowed by N.Y.D.C. Menu was attractive and colourful, neatly displayed by different food categories inside the booklet. With a title of “The Totally Yummy-licious Big O Menu By The Chefs”, it appeared naughty and fun.Food was served fast, we shared it among us. Cut into six pieces, the cheese was generously given. Thin crusty layer of pizza, it was slightly burnt but fragrant. Best eaten while it was still hot, cracker was flavoursome without greasy feeling. Price at $16.50, no doubt it was a bit steep but tasty. Happy dining experience, we gossiped at there until it closed. continue reading

My friend come here will always have their main course. But for me, I only look forward to order my all-time favourite minestrone soup. The portion is very generous and good to make me feel filling and satisfying. The soup base is thick and filled with the fresh tomato paste in it. Lots of diced carrots, potatoes and tomatoes can be found in it which is very fresh and crunchy. Have it on its really make me happy and craving for more. For the price of less than$10, is certainly worth the price. Service here is also quite nice and polite too. continue reading

My friend and I had lunch here and I liked the snacks that we ordered alot We ordered the breaded mozzarella sticks which is overall yummy, but there's only a few sticks served ( I think about 5 or 6 ). The mushroom soup is also superb and is one of the best mushroom soups I've had (sorry forgot to snap a photo of it)! We paid using the posb credit card promotion of 1-for-1, not sure if it is still available now. continue reading
