Again it's time for buffet! I remember having the lunch buffet at my secondary school days hehe. And I have went back to the same branch at woodlands after it has been revamped. The variety remained about the same but I really like the tom yam marinated meat! Seoul Garden offers quite a lot choices and lets you pick how much you want at whatever portion you like. They have spaghetti, rice, desserts and ice cream! Good place to hang out with friends too. continue reading

Whenever I visit Breeks, I will normally order their char grilled quarter chicken as my main course. The mini quarter chicken here has been marinated with their special sauce before bring to grill. Think they should have used quite a long hours to grill it as the outer and inner of this chicken is really tender, and the flavour of their special sauce has been absorb to all parts of this chicken. Likes their not too oily cut vegetables which includes celeries and carrots which are really good to provide this dish a better 'one dish meal' package. continue reading

Saturday Evening, breeks cafe wasn't really crowded around 5plus...went there for dinner with my friend. the ceiling is quite low, and the whole restaurant is quite stuffy, ventilation is not good, so we ended up taking up the seats along the corridors, after going through the menu, decided to settle for finger food instead of the main ala carte, probably because i think the main dishes are over price and they don't really look appetizing.Waffle Fries with Cheese (Nice! I like)Potato Island (Baked Potato filled with Creamy Mushroom, wish the baked potatoes were more soft)Southwest Chicken Salad (so-so, avocado pieces too thick, the southwest dressing wasn't really nice) Buffalo Wings (not spicy enough, and they just practically pour the sauce on top and treat it as buffalo wingsService was still quite ok... so i leave it up to the readers here to experience themselves. cheers continue reading

A couple of friends & I went over to Breeks for dinner. The main courses like the pizza's were really good! However, I really was not impressed with the desserts..The ice cream tasted pretty normal to me or worse. The vanilla cone at mac's tasted better ): There were not generous with the chocolate syrup over the ice cream either and the cherry was not fresh. Service wise, the crew was friendly but they took an extremely long time to serve us our food & desserts even when there was hardly anyone else dining.I also find the restaurant really over priced. Doubt I'd make a second visit! ): continue reading

The cafe doesn't see much crowd during dinner. However, the food is not bad, just a little pricey. I love the beef lasagne. It's very cheesy and comes with crispy deep fried noodle bits, making the dish slightly more interesting. Potato island is worth a try too! It's baked potato with mushroom and ham inside and is equally cheesy. It's a little expensive at about $7+ for two potato halves. Service is impersonal. continue reading
