I had the pumpkin soup in bread bowl since I wanted to order something special. The soup comes in the presentation of pouring the soup into a big hollow bread bowl. Is quite amazing how the soup spoon team can make the presentation so perfect that the bread bowl can hold the soup in place. After the soup is finished, you will then eat the bread (or not since it will be quite filling). I like the smoothness of the pumpkin soup and I will mass spam it with lotsa black pepper. It tasted really good with the extra spiciness from the pepper. The bread bowl is crispy too on the outside. Will definitely try the bread bowl again! continue reading

I always being interested on thicker and creamy soup instaed of clear soup. This simon and garfunkel soup is definitely able to suit my taste bud as simply thick and delicious. Generous amount of chicken meat, carrot, potato and many other ingredients are added in it which make this soup really filling and satisfying. Have it on its own or with a few slices of french loaf taste equally good! continue reading

This evening, I step into this restaurant located at Paragon where serve several types of soup. I decide to have Tokyo Chicken Stew for my dinnerThey provide homemade marinade succulent chicken seasoned to form the delectable teriyaki flavoring. This stew mainly contains of radish, carrot, leek, shitake mushroom, enoki mushroom, bamboo shoot, lotus root, celery, garlic, onion, sake, mirin which is simple and authentic. According to them; the marinated chicken is simmered in a broth of sake and mirin. The soup becomes a well-balanced meal and it tastes extremely good. The price is 7.20/8.50 depending of the size. continue reading

The soup comes with a little bun for you to dip in your soup. But it is abit expensive for me. continue reading

The Soup Spoon is my favourite place for soups and salads. However, I came to realise that it serves equally good Breakfast sets as well.We happened to be in that area at about 10am on a weekday morning, and didnt really fancy having a soup.We were pleasantly surprised when we realised that The Souper Breakfast was actually a breakfast set with Coffee! The set comprised of toast, scrambled eggs with cranberry, boiled chicken sauages and salad. Each order was prepared from scratch; hence the slighty longer waiting time.It was worth the wait, with crispy, hot toast and hot eggs and sausages. The taste proved that all the ingredients used were fresh. The service, as always, was fast and very polite. The staff ensured that our order was sent to our table once readyand that nothing was lacking. We enjoyed breakfast and will definitely go back for more! continue reading
