I patronize this cafe few times and never get bored, because they have the best waffle ever (imho).Hot Chocolate - $5.20. See the layer? It's visually pretty. It's a bit foamy, and so chocolatey. A warming and delicious drink, although is tad pricey.Pasta Carbonara - $10.90. A simple carbonara-based spaghetti with smoked beef slices and mushroom. Portion wise, quite fulfilling. Tasted just average though.Oreo Cheesecake - $5.60. This cheesecake was very cheesy and ended up a bit sickening. Not in my recommendation list.Waffle a la Mode Treat (Regular) with Cookie Dough Ice Cream - $11.60. I repeat, Gelare does have the best waffle ever! Their waffle was fluffy, fragrant, and not overly sweet. However, for the cookie dough, it's not cookie enough for me, hehe. It's more like vanilla flavor.Waffle a la Mode Treat (Half) with Choc Choc Chunk Ice Cream - $8.80. With addition of chocolate sauce, making this waffle more delicious. The triple C ice cream was very rich in chocolate, nice combination to eat with the waffle.Waffle Tutti Frutti a la Mode Treat (Regular) with Choc Choc Chunk Ice Cream - $12.60. Waffle with sliced strawberries & peaches. The fruits were freshly served. It was perfect to eat sour fruits together with sweet chocolate ice cream and warm waffle.Overall, I enjoyed Gelare's waffle so much. Although it costs a bit pricier than other waffle parlour, it's really worth every single penny.

Super premium Ice-cream served all over the town, Gelare Café offered Italian and American dessert with an Australian twist. No artificial colouring or flavouring guaranteed, the ingredients were basically freshest natural. Open-concept dining area, I prefer sitting along corridor to observe people passing by. I am a definite Tiramisu lover, opted for it without second thought. Waffle was freshly baked and pipping hot while it served, attractive fluffy layer. The whipped cream was light and smooth, pretty dressing to the whole. Relaxing afternoon, I was scooping ice-cream and enjoying the wonderful moment. Every day is a gift.

Between 2 rows of shops at the second floor of the shopping mall, there is this café with its rich and temping ice-cream on display.Mini Feast Sundae ($26.80)Eight assorted scoops of Gelare's super premium ice cream sandwiched with orea cookies in between and decorated with chopped peaches and strawberries as centre piece. So many different flavours, great for a group to share.Almond Brownie with single scoop ice cream ($8.50)Fudgy and sinfully delicious almond brownie served warm and topped with all natural Gelare super premium ice cream. The brownie is moist and warm. A good balance to the old ice cream.

I love their tutti fruiti waffle coupled with their fresh own made ice cream. The best option is when you order the waffle on a tuesday for its half price promotion ($8.10). I love how their waffles are very fluffy especially when served hot. They do not pre make the waffles so be rest assured they are fresh and tasty. For the ice cream flavours, my favourite is cookies and cream! Their ice cream are divided into milky ones and sorbet kinds. You can request for whipped cream or maple syrup to top on your ice cream and waffle. Gelare's waffles are pretty good. Celine

Dessert after lunch is a must for sure.And since it's tuesday, of course we had to go to Gelare for their half price waffle right!Today's choice - Chocolate Chip waffle with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and the normal waffle with Jamaican Chocolate.You can choose between maple and chocolate syrup.Whip cream are optional too!Totally love the waffle cause it's so fluffy, together with the ice cream, it taste super awesome.Super worth the price pay!
