The Chef was previously from Chatterbox @ Mandarin (Which is renowned for their chicken rice)I got to know about the existence of this stall through some TV variety show.I didnt know about the existence of a foodcourt at centerpoint basement then (It was newly converted at that time).I would pay good price for any food as long as it managed to justify it's value to me.Dining at Chatterbox would easily set you back $20 over dollars for a plate of chicken rice. I think majority of the cost would have gone to the ambiance instead of the food.I had the chicken rice set which is my main agenda. Presentation wise, I must say the steamed chicken looked really appealing. Chicken is tender, soft with a hint of sesame soy sauce. But its definitely not the best around. Rice was not oily(Plus point)Texture and taste was quite average. It is an above average chicken rice. At least I guess the standard are better than what most food court would serve. continue reading
