It was a quiet Saturday and the place, which was hidden at the basement of a carpark, was quite empty. I had my little snack in the evening because i didn't want to eat much, and ordered my favourite chee cheong fun with Cha Shao! The portion was really huge and it was very cheap for such great chee cheong fun! There were a lot of chasiew inside to my satisfaction and the stallowner also spammed the fried onions which made it so tastefully delicious! The sweet soya sauce enhanced the entire taste as well. This cup of milo was quite well-done, it wasn't too thick nor too sweet but the sad thing was that it's not as hot as i wanted it to be. I guess it's becasue the klopitiam was closing soon? (it was about 7.45pm) and thus they might have stopped boiling or warming it. continue reading

This was the first time I came to this Kopitiam. It was named 'The basement' because it was situated at the basement of Centrepoint, the underpass linking to Orchard Central. It was almost lunch time and the crowd was building up. I have yet to decide what to eat, so I thought of having a coffee first. I saw that the Dim Sum stall has coffee set with some Dim Sum. I ordered the big chicken pao and coffee.I like the pao, especially the egg inside. It's quite hard to get big chicken pao that has egg inside. Good coffee too. The set cost $2.20. Pretty worth it. continue reading
