From i first saw this on the menu, i thought it looks pretty normal, wasn't too appealing to me. But when it arrived, it smelled really nice and i took the first mouthful.... I went wow a bit! It was surprisingly good. I like the taste from the prawn paste and i actually find it quite enjoyable to even drink the gravy on its own. Kang Kong texture was ok too. Overall it's a good dish that will goes well with rice too =)

I happened to know about Pauline Thai Food from a friend. This Thai food stall is situated in Golden Mile Hawker at the second level near Lavender. I feel this stall serves really authentic Thai food at affordable prices. I’m not sure but I think the chef is Thai. I ordered the Tom Yum soup and the Thai style fried chicken. The Tom Yum soup had generous amount of spices and ingredients. The taste is just like how you have it in Thailand itself. So far, still the best tom yum so far from what I have tasted before. It was super spicy too for me. For the price and taste, I really feel that it is worth it at $5 per bowl. I also ordered the Thai style chicken to go along which was crispy and delicious. It tasted like prawn paste chicken ($8) and I really enjoyed it.
