(1) Take a cup.(2) Dispense the yoghurt. Flavors include Nutella (which was the reason why I was so eager to try out Sogurt), Red Velvet Cake, and other ordinary flavors like Chocolate, and Caramel. (3) Add your toppings. Toppings include M&Ms, marshmallows, chocolate chips, fruits etc. I must say it was pretty enjoyable being able to not only choose, but scoop your own toppings, as much as you like, and of course, as much as your wallet can sustain, because..(4) Weigh your cup, and you pay by weight, at $3 per 100g.I thought the flavors are intriguing and refreshing. The service was ordinary. The music played in the shop was however, not befitting of the concept. It was playing clubbing hits, and I mean real hardcore clubbing hits, not just R&B songs.Otherwise it was pretty fine; you can get your cup of dispensed water at the side. continue reading

Sogurt serves really nice yogurt and it is different from other yogurt placs like Yoguru or frolick as you can create your own yogurt and put as many toppings or different flavour yogurt as you want! There are many flavours to choose from such as original, strawberry and even coffee! Their price depends on how much your yogurt weighs. Decided to try the original flavour yogurt topped up with chocolate chips, granola, cranberry, almond and rainbow sprinkles! Personally, i feel that their yogurt was quite nice and it was a plus point given the advantage that you have the freedom to choose how much yogurt you want and pay accordingly. Hence, no doubt it is becoming popular with teenagers nowadays. continue reading

Nutella and original flavour. I felt that the yogurt tasted more like ice cream. The nutella flavour is a bit too sweet for me and it tastes more like chocolate to me than nutella (Hazelnut chocolate). The original yogurt doesn't taste that good to me either. If i must choose between other brands of yogurt, I would go for those as I don't really like the concept of this weigh and pay kind of system, I won't know if they're cheating me or not. Plus, the girls manning the store are not friendly at all. I asked for the watsons discount but I didn't have my card with me and she said I can't be entitled to it. Then later, she told me that she didn't have 5 cents change and rounded off my amount... That's quite unfair to me. Am I supposed to get 1 more pump of yogurt like that? The girls should go for some training and I think apart from the cute branding, there's nothing too good about this yogurt. continue reading

Sogurt works by you dispensing your own yogurt, and they weigh for you. This concept seems a little biased to me because I don't know how much the yogurt weighs and also, what if I dispensed too much and it costs a lot and I don't have enough money?Anyway, I tried the Red Velvet Cake flavour with the Original, and added some pistachios or granola bar over it (they don't even label their toppings). So what the two counter girls did over there was just stand at the cashier, weigh it, and ask for money. I felt that I wasn't paying for service, yet the yogurt was really expensive, and immediately I just thought of other yogurt brands... Sorryyy Sogurt, your yogurt isn't that great either. The cup design is really cute though! continue reading

Plain and tiramisu flavoured yogurtSogurt @JEM offers a great variety of flavours. Namely, plain, tiramisu, lychee and grape flavours. But the best thing was when they had my all time favourite, nutella. The sweet scent of strawberry, the juiciness of each fruit, the crisp of the coloured cereals tasted great. The ambience was bright and cheery. We had to pay according to the weight of the yoghurt and toppings selected.Watsons card members are given a 15% discount. Sogurt is a nice place to chill out. continue reading
