While I was looking for food in Chong Pang market, I saw a stall selling fried carrot cake with steady queues. Hence, I decided to have a try.I ordered the Fried White Carrot Cake at $3. The wait was not long, about 10 minutes, the carrot cake delivered to my table piping hot.The appearance of the carrot cake looked good, with nice fried golden brown on the outside. There was a nice aroma of fried lard and "wok hei".The carrot cake tasted very good, crispy on the outside, moist and soft in the inside. The carrot cake did not have a floury taste, it has mild white radish taste with savoury fish sauce.
