Saw quite a few people having it and decided to give it a try. Ordered the medium plate at 3 bucks. Portion is quite big with lotsa cockles. The kway teow and noodles are well fried, not too soggy and go really well with the sweet sauce, it is simply delicious! Will definitely patronise again and will recommend to fried kway teow lovers, it is indeed yummy and value for money! continue reading

This stall was formerly from the hawker behind Toa Payoh interchange in the eighties. I have been an ardent supporter of this stall till now. The dish was moist but not overly greasy, just the right amount of sweet dark sauce to accent the savoriness, yet not overpowering it. Sea-hum were fresh and juicy! Perfect the dish by requesting for their homemade balacan chilli! continue reading

I happened to pass by this stall of char kway teow and decided to order a plate. Their char kway teow is very fragrant. The kway teow was very smooth and delicious. they were generous with their ingredients like beansprout, egg and cockles. Their cockles very fresh and juicy. it provided the dish with an additional sweetness. They added a lot of sweet sauce to the noodles making it very sweet and tasty. continue reading

Have not try from this stall before and we thought give it a try since my friend has cravings for cockles. While we were busy eating the fried egg omelette, came this aromatic fried kway teow and we just diverted our chopsticks onto the plate of kway teow. Wow, surprisingly it was good, very tasty and with breath of wok, also their cockles were fresh. We were not expecting it to be this good and a friend actually ordered a takeaway to have it for supper later. She told me the next day that it was still good even hours later. A surprised discovery. continue reading
