I always spot queue everytime I pass by 4Fingers at Plaza Singapura. Luckily, this time the line moved quite fast, but still had to wait quite long for my order to come.12 pieces Chicken - $15.90. My friend and I decided to share this, so each of us got 6 pieces of chicken. We chose to mix the flavor (spicy and garlic soy) since I cannot take spicy food. The chicken consists of drumlets and wings. This set came with fries (we chose seaweed flavor) and drink (we chose coke). The chicken was marinated well, it was crispy outside and juicy inside. I mistakenly grabbed my friend's spicy chicken and it was burning hot . The fries was also went nicely with seaweed powder, nothing much to say here. Overall, I never get bored of 4Fingers chicken! continue reading

Finally no queue! We had always been wanting to try out 4 Fingers to see what’s the craze all about and the opportunity finally struck. Sadly, it was a major disappointment as we really don’t see what the hype was all about. We were there around 9pm and many of the items in their menu were out of stock. As such, we settled for one of the few remaining items - Chicken Chop with Soy Garlic ($9.95),hoping it would be representative of the shop’s signature drumlets. The sauce was quite tasty but the chicken… dry and tasteless. Somehow, the marinate rested purely on the surface and didn’t manage to penetrate into the meat. The chicken and fries were not exactly piping hot as we had anticipated. To make things worse, the place was rather stuffy and filled with a greasy stench  Not a place we would likely visit again. continue reading

This 12-piece set consists of 6 drumlettes and 6 mid-joints i.e. 6 full chicken wings. The wings come in two flavours, spicy & soy garlic and you can request for a mix too which we did with our order. The difference between Korean fried chicken and other standard fried chicken is that it is fried twice hence the skin is much more crispy. But this also means the chicken wings would end up looking skinny and shrivelled with barely any meat underneath the skin. So if you think this 12-piece set can probably feed 2-3 persons, no, it can’t. I can devour the whole box and still not feeling satisfied from it because the wings are just small!I can’t compare these wings with others because these are more of a snacky type of food and you’d love them if you love crisp and crunch. The chicken itself doesn’t have much flavour but the marinate sauce & spices rock. I prefer the soy garlic to the spicy one because it’s rich, sweet and salty at the same time. The flavours just explode in the mouth with every bite. The spicy wings lack ooomph as they are quite bland in flavour which is a pity as I love heat but these are below my expectations. If you prefer your chicken to be tender and juicy, then this Korean style of fried chicken is probably not your cup of tea. I call such chicken wings beer food because they are more like pub grub which you can enjoy over beers but not as a meal on its own.For full review and pictures, please go to http://www.springtomorrow.com/2013/12/27/4-fingers-korean-style-crispy-fried-chicken-wings/ continue reading

Full 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken review here: http://ivanteh-runningman.blogspot.sg/2014/02/4-fingers-crispy-chicken.htmlDespite having been in Singapore for a few years now, the perpetually long queues outside each 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken outlet has never let up. And why not? Their signature Korean fried chicken is crisp, moist, non-greasy, and absolutely tasty.Although 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken is a fast food chain, they are dedicated to elevating the experience of fast food, through offering quality Korean fried chicken. This is the theme of their decor, a revolution, a secret meeting of minds. Graffiti adorns the walls, while warning signs declare each outlet to be a restricted area. This underground scene even extends to their packaging, which bears labels such as secret or restricted.Service at 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken is fast food style, order and pay at the cashier, and collect your order when buzzed. Still, the staff at the counters are friendly, and informative. Professionalism, I like! However, there is usually a long queue time of about 20 minutes or more, although once you order, you food is usually ready within 5 minutes.Food at 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken revolves around their signature Korean fried chicken, along with their 2 speciality sauces, the soy garlic sauce and the hot sauce. There isn't much variation to the menu, mostly consisting of either chicken, burgers / sandwiches, and seafood like squid or prawns. The Wings & Drummettes (SGD $9.95 for 6 pieces) have crisp skin, moist, well-cooked meat, and tasty flvaour. The Hot Sauce is quite fiery, and the heat builds gradually throughout the meal. The Soy Garlic Sauce is savoury and fragrant, without being too salty. Excellent! There are 2 options for seasoned fried (you can't get it plain), Kimchi Fries, or Seaweed And Chili Pepper Fries. The Kimchi Fries are seasoned with kimchi powder, and I feel aren't that tasty or special. But the Seaweed And Chili Pepper Fries are very good, with actual seaweed leaves and red chili pepper flakes. continue reading

Overall i love the fries, as it was really nice to bite and with the seaweed that is spread around the fries and chicken wing it was really wonderful. I love the chicken wing taste too. However, i felt that it was quite expensive of about $10 for a person. It was a long queue too. The waiting time was a bit long. continue reading
