Arrival of this Taiwan Dessert, the stall was famous and accepted by local patrons. Healthier option, Beans Talk was using natural ingredients to create the refreshing mixture. Best seller was always their Signature Beancurd, packing was simple and cute. Smooth and slippery, it glided down my throat. The version of silky Soya Pudding was not overly sweet, texture was firm. Chilling Beancurd and Glassjelly with 6 toppings of Beans, Nuts and Starch balls, it was only $2.00. No harm trying if you happened to be at Jurong East interchange waiting for your public transport. continue reading

Before queuing for bus, I saw this Beans Talk stall right beside the bus interchange. As there is a promotion price of $2 for a bowl of their signature dessert,I decided to get one bowl to try.The bean curd and the grass jelly are the main. As for the toppings, there are peanuts, red bean, green bean, taro balls. What I like best is the grass jelly and peanuts topping. The grass jelly is extremely smooth and had a similar texture to the soy bean curd. The peanut is roasted and it add on the extra crunch and fragrant to this bowl of dessert. continue reading

New contender in the house for this Taiwanese Dessert is Beans Talk! Their version of this dessert has a few spins to the original, in particular the addition of roasted peanuts, sago, aiyu jelly, pinto beans and silky smooth beancurd! The beancurd combination with grass jelly is really quite innovative and I would say... it doesn't really blend together that well but it's a good effort. In fact I enjoyed the addition of roasted peanuts even more. Overall it has deviated from the plain sort of 芋圆 and added some funky ingredients inside to make it more exciting! The sweet potato and taro balls seemed to have taken a backseat in the midst of so many ingredients. Very refreshing and sweet dessert. Could have been more evenly chilled though. It's called the Signature Beans Talk Dessert ($2). Would be recommended to try for its unique combination and also that it's quite value-for-money (so much ingredients for only $2). Whether you want to try it a second time, it's really subjective to whether you enjoyed it or not. Discovered a cheaper alternative to Blackball and the servings although not as much as Blackball’s, but still quite filling for 2 persons. They have quite a variety of desserts to choose from and some drinks like soy bean and grass jelly or mixed! The desserts are categorized into soy beancurd type, grass jelly and other desserts like mango sago etc. I think the most worth it item would be the one in the picture below! It’s only $2 and there’s so much stuff inside! We had durian beancurd ($2.80). I love durian! It’s a cold dessert by the way. The durian seems to be quite fresh and creamy and it tasted super good with beancurd. One of a kind! But other than beancurd and durian, there’s only 3 other jelly balls in it. But the service was rather slow though. There were just 2 persons in front of us but it took 5 mins for them to serve us despite having 2 servers. continue reading
