This stall opened a while back and I actually wanted to try their pasta, but I ended up going for the Grilled Chicken Chop Rice (U.P. $6.80) first since there was a "New Opening" promotion for it. However, I was disappointed with the presentation of the food. The egg they gave was "broken" and the yolk was running down the food. Despite it being served on a hot plate, the food wasn't really that piping hot. The chicken was also rather disappointing and was quite unevenly and inconsistently cooked. There was a weird taste for most part and it only tasted decent at one corner of the meat. I thought the whole dish on the whole was rather average. The only redeeming feature is the sauce, which was quite tasty. I'm not sure if the inconsistency is because it's a new stall, but if I were to give the store another go I'd probably steer clear of their promotion items and try their pasta dishes instead. continue reading

Me and my friend, we were just wandering around the place looking for some new place to try out We passed by Food Republic and browse for some cheap nice dinner! There was some promotion going on at this Gazza Pasta store and there's some crowd of people! We order this promotion set for two We decide to split the food equally so we each can taste some of each other's food!It was quite a worthy meal, there's mushroom soup, fish and chips, cabonara pasta and wedges!I like the beeping device they give, it will sound when your food is ready! The food's not bad, just that the soup is too watery but still this is a worthy recommendation continue reading

The other day I was aimlessly walking around Causeway Point and decided to have lunch at Food Republic and a large banner grabbed my attention. As it seems, Gazza Pasta is a newly opened stall within Food Republic at Causeway Point and that they are having an opening promotion of having the second pizza at 50% off usual price if you ordered a pizza for as a first order.I was not particularly interested in pizza that day, and since the stall name had “pasta” in it I decided why not try their pasta instead. The Carbonara's presentation seem pretty for one that came from a food court stall, but the taste was not as outstanding. The sauce looked creamy but was pretty bland while the bacon did give it a hint of saltiness. The noodles are fairly well cooked, but it just didn’t help when the sauce was pretty much tasteless. The garlic bread was not too shabby though; enough garlic spread and being crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. For the full review, please visit : http://jiaksimipng.wordpress.com/2013/05/28/gazza-pasta-causeway-point/ continue reading
