Besides the kopi, teh tarik, prata, this coffee shop's mee siam and laksa are very popular with their customers, who brave the limited parking and the heat to eat here. I had the laksa with thick rice noodles which were bathed in a fragrant, rich and spicy coconut milk-based gravy. The laksa was served with lots of crunchy bean sprouts, shredded fish cake, big pieces of dried bean curd pockets (taupok) minced daun kesom leaves and half of a hard boiled egg. Satisfying meal even though I asked them to leave out the cockles. A dollop of sambal chilli was provided but the gravy had enough kick even without it. The gravy was so good it almost seemed wasteful not to finish it till the last drop.
