Came here for breakfast as it is of walking distance from my house. The hawker centre is quite clean and there are a lot of empty seats. This is my first time trying Hon Ni Kitchen Nasi Lemak ( as recommended by my sister ) And i really like it! I had chicken wing, otah and ikan bilis and it cost me $3. The chicken wing is perfect! Very tasty with crispy tanned skin and the meat is very well marinated. It is well cooked too as the meat isn't bloody. Otah is nice too without the "fishy" smell. The rice is also very fragrant. However i feel that coconut milk used is not enough for the rice. Overall, i really like this dish and will definitely be back for the nasi lemak continue reading

This is a clean Hawker Centre with plenty of seats. There's a lot of old school heartland shops around here, but not much to see. There is a decent amount of parking space. We ordered the Nasi Lemak. I've eaten here before a year ago, the standards are still consistent and the trademark "warm temperature" chilli is still there. Luncheon meat was satisfying, outside almost crispy, yet inside remains tender. Chicken Wings are well cooked, not bloody uncooked or anything... faultless! Fishcake was nice and "bouncy" too. Rice was very fragrant. There is fast delivery upon payment. continue reading

This nasi lemak always has a long queue so I decided to give it a try. The rice has a very fragrant coconut taste and it the rice is very well cooked. It is not wet, soggy and sticky. It costs $2 for 3 items which is very cheap. I love the chicken wings and long beans. The chicken wings are very crispy and well-flavoured. The long beans are cooked with shrimps and they are very crunchy. I think the luncheon meat is a little small and taste like normal. A very nice breakfast to start off your day. continue reading

Their stall is everyday LONG QUE!! rain or shine also very long que, it;s long que but it's still worth to que. nasi lemak is what they sell and really is alot different side dish for it. I order nasi lemak with 1 chicken wing + 1 otah(quite a big otah) + egg( sunny upside) + 1 small fish and guess what it cost me less dan $3, the food wise is totally amazing. Love the rice as its not over cooked and it smell nice and taste good other than this is the chicken wing. The chicken wing is average size not too small or too big but it taste great with juice in it when you bite it !! alot of juice flow out. and i call that juicy! the egg is cooked good and looking at it you will see they really spend alot effort on the egg too. everything is too good you just nd to que and get 1 plate and try it and you will believe that is really worth que-ing.staff is nice and service is quick as there's alot of people working, que-ing time is 15-25 minute that the max time i que-ed. !! continue reading

I have never been a big fan of nasi lemak as I find the latter rather oily and fattening, with all the coconut milk and stuff. However, after I've tried the one at this stall in Bedok, I'll just try to indulge myself once a week as it is still not a healthy dish The rice is very fragrant, with a slightly strong taste/smell of pandan leaves. The otah meat is not overcooked and tasted just right, not like how some are overcooked and become very dry. The chicken wing is my favourite with its tender meat and crispy skin. Last but not least, a portion of long beans is added to make this meal healthier. All this for a whooping price of $3. continue reading
