Was having a chalet at Downtown East and wanted a break from all that BBQed stuff. Walked over to Emi and bought myself an eggless Peach Mango Cake .Well cased in a sturdy transparent container, almost seals the freshness and the cold air in (for a longer period of time). Sweet fresh cream with slices of peaches trails in between fluffy and light mango chiffon spongecake. I opted for the eggless version as a healthier alternative from all my sinful eats.

Nowadays, I am fond of durian cakes and I learned that Emicakes’ chiffon cakes isSofter, tastier plus healthier 30% less cholesterol compared to regular chiffon cakes. Their durian chiffon cake is using the ingredients, the best Mao Shan Wang (King of the durian) tomake the cakes.It is quite expensive. I decide to get the smallest size durian cakes. The outlook of The cake is so beautiful and attractive. The durian smells so good to me. It' taste is fantastic good that overpowering my taste buds.The price is $64.90 for 600 grams.

Besides eggless cakesa at two dollars each, emicakes also have a section whereby they make fresh durian pancakes on the spot. staff is friendly and was quick to give recommendations on their various food items. tried their fresh D24 durian pancake. pancake is good, and the amount of flour is just right. Durian filling is good but can get a little watery. chocolate eggless cakes - quite sweet, texture is soft and fluffy, chocolate I feel is not rich enough. I think I still prefer cakes with egg for the more buttery taste. whipped cream is plentiful and can get messy. overall is good given their price range.

Happy Father Day! Together with my family we went to Downtown east Chalet for BBQ. During afternoon, my mother and I went to shop around to see for cakes and food for BBQ. We walked pass Emicakes and my mother recommends to buy these for my Father ((: There are different types of cakes, desserts to choose from. We chose a total of 4 flavours (Tiramisu, Choco Brownie, Oreo and Strawberry Shortcake). The total price for 4 cups was only $6 (Buy 3 get 1 free). Other than that, they have durian, mango, blueberry and brownie cheese flavours too. The 4 flavours that we have chosen was delicious and it was definitely worth buying it. Their cakes are also suitable for Vegetarian as they do not includes any egg. YUMMY YUMMY !

went there a 2nd time because we had to get this again since my child prefers this more than i do. it's cute with the gummy bear on top. but i didn't like it. my child liked it since it is small and she can hold it and it looks cute. i felt the cake was very dry and the mousse itself was not soft or fluffy. there is also no ingredient list or date of manufacture or expiry. it survived the transportation very well. and it was too expensive. and it's a child portion so it was good for children. i don't recommend but my child does!
