This vegetarian restaurant is quite squeezy and uncomfortable, but fortunately is still quite cooling inside. The auntie boss here is friendly and advise me on which are the items are their signature dishes. I ended up with having their ramen soup again as this is my favourite. THe ramen portion is very generous and chewy. The soup base is filled with the vegetable stock and is sweet and tasty. Lots of crunchy carrot slices, mushrooms and cabbage can be found inside as well which is very nutritional. For mere $7.50 is quite affordable. continue reading

Wanted to have a peaceful lunch and saw this shop which is quite quiet and not crowded, so went in to have my meal. The aunty staff here is not really friendly and quite impatient when serving me. The shop looks small and simple, but still quite comfortable. Took almost fifteen minutes before my fried mushroom noodles is served to me. Portion was quite little but fortunately the taste was not too bad. The fried mushrooms are soft in the inner texture and crispy on the outer layer. Lots of fresh sliced vegetables are also added in it, which make it very nutritional for health. The noodles are chewy and not soggy, which the mushroom gravy used in this dish is also quite tasty and not too salty. continue reading

Yummy Green is obviously quite understaffed; although the seating was limited and there were only 2 tables on a weekend, there was only 1 serving staff, and she was rather inefficient. I had the ramen soup that comes with a fried mushroom/beancurd patty (which was called tonkatsu but it's vegetarian). The whole thing costs about $6.80. The crispy vegetarian tonkatsu was good and flavourful and not full of flour. Ramen was nothing special, with veggies only. But a good meal overall which is healthy. continue reading

Priding itself for serving MSG-free vegetarian food, Yummy Green may come across as too bland and too artificial for many people's liking. We ordered a set that came with artificial mock chicken (or was it pork?) meat. It is certainly fried till a crisp golden and the crispiness lasted throughout the short meal. But the meat itself was disappointing. Granted that it is vegetarian meat but it tasted way too floury without any hint of authentic meat at all. continue reading

The food sold at this vegetarian restaurant is so real;DThe restaurant is pretty small with limited seats, but the food sold here isn’t limited at all. There are lots of choices to choose from in their menu. The food range from noodles, soup or dried to western food such as fish and chips.Had tried their fish and chips before and they look really alike to those real fish and chips. Even the taste is so alike!;D although I won’t say it is really totally similar to the taste of fish, but this is considered not bad for a vegetarian meal.(:And this time I tried the soup noodles with chicken cutlet.(:The soup was nicely flavoured and the noodles given were quite a lot that I became so full after eating. The chicken cutlet was nicely fried too, and do have the taste of fried chicken;DDo try this vegetarian restaurant, the food here are really delicious;D continue reading
