At $3 plus a plate, this mee rebus is highly recommended to all who love local delicacies! Each serving is large and can even be shared with 1/2 people. Each plate is served with a generous portion of bean sprouts, finely cut toufu cubes, green chili which are absolutely not spicy and yellow noodles. The noodles are boiled just right, not too soggy or too hard to swallow. The green chili and bean sprouts add textures and freshness and hence customers will not get too sick of eating this large plate. As for the sauce, it is not too sweet or salty and blends well with the noodles and accompanying ingredients. Generall, a highly recommended dish for all to try! continue reading

i tried out the mee rebus from this stall, it was indeed value for money, just by eating this I could hardly eat anything else already. They are just simply generous with the portion of the noodles. They used those yellow flat noodles for their mee rebus. The yellow flat noodles are cooked perfectly, it is not too soft and overcooked and most importantly does not stick to your teeth. The gravy is very thick and tasty. It is not too spicy and the flavours are there. When you squeeze the lime into the gravy, it makes it taste even nicer, adds acidity to the dish. The portion of ingredients is also a lot, they really added a lot of bean sprout to the dish. The bean sprouts were not overcooked but were still crunchy and juicy. Really pleased with the portion and the price I paid. So worth it. continue reading

A huge portion and I really really mean a huge portion of noodles for the amount you pay for. I could not even finish 1 bowl of mee by myself. It is that much! The gravy is not very thick, but tastes reasonable. The noodles are cooked nicely and abundant, also, the bean sprouts too. If you are looking for a full-filling meal, this stall will meet your needs but for good tasting mee rumbus, you can skip this. continue reading

Went to Mee Rebus – Treats for some awesome mee rubus. This mee rebus is really a value for money! The serving is so big that you will be very full after a meal. The gravy is so thick and rich that you just cant get enough of it! The condiments is also a lot. Very nice! However, I find it abit too salty though. Haha. continue reading

Apart from the main course, mee rebus, mee siam, laksa, chicken curry, this stall also sells beancurd and chin chow. I ordered a bowl of beancurd that day and as per usual, it came in ample portions. The beancurd was smooth and not grainy. As I like my beancurd sweet, the syrup that came with it was ideal for my liking. A perfect dessert for a hot day. continue reading
