We settled for dinner at Kopitiam at Plaza by The Park, which I walked one round in the food court before deciding to have the fried seafood tang hoon from Viet Kitchen. I made a special request to have less oil and salt. The tang hoon was tangy and the seafood ingredients were quite generous in portion. The portion was sufficient to keep my stomach full. It costs $4.50 for the meal. continue reading

A few Saturday's ago, I had dinner from the Viet Kitchen stall at Kopitiam.I was craving fried rice and hence, chose the Chicken Fried Rice which looked really good in the picture.However when the food was presented to me, it was a far cry from the ones on the picture.The presentation of the food wasn't very appealing and the food looked rather bland.However I know better than to judge a book by it's cover cause sometimes the food can really surprise you (in a good way).This didn't though The fried rice was rather tasteless and the chicken was tough and dry, lacking flavour.Definitely was disappointed as I expected so much better! continue reading
