I was very disappointed with subway breakfast as the portion was really small. It looked more like kids' meal to me. The breakfast come with a 3" flatbread, hash brown and a cup of coffee. To be being with, the coffee was awful, it was too diluted and i added 3 packs of sugars! The hash brown was nice, but crispy at all despite it was served hot. Last is the 3" bread i ordered, the share was really too small that i don't which part of the stomach it can fill. LOL. The taste was also terrible, particularly the egg, it taste more like those egg mixture with a lot of water added to it. I personally feel that it don't worth the price of $4.50 at all. continue reading

After long hours under the scorching sun and queues at the Navy Open House, we finally returned to Expo. Queues were pretty decent for subway and we decided to grab the S$5.00 Egg Mayo 6 inch meal.Time was neither here nor there. Not appropriate for lunch and dinner. Therefore we divided to share the portion before we get a proper meal. Bread was cut into half as requested with red wine and sweet onion sauce, it tastes good. However as we opened up the packet of buns, everything turns out to be soggy, most probably because of egg mayo and watery red wine sauce had caused in. We have to be careful not to let them stain onto our clothings. Service was fast with the whole process (from taking order to serving of food and money collection) within 5 minutes. continue reading

Was at expo for a adidas warehouse sale fair. We were hungry and we did not want to travel far. The place was crowded and we decided to settle lunch at changi. The place was packed and there was no where we could find seat. We take away our food and sat down somewhere else where there is less crowd. So these were the sandwiches we had. Overall i felt that the sandwiches are really normal. I did not felt anything special about the sandwiches. The sandwiches did not display at what it is according to the promotion board. Really average sandwiches. I felt that the staff could be more polite, and smile as well. continue reading

Was @ Expo for Sitex on a Saturday... wanted to find a place to sit down & fill my hungry stomach. It's horrifying to find the usually empty Subway filled with super long queue & super packed seats.Apparently they have additional staffs for event days, so the waiting wasn't too bad. But they were left with very few choices of bread, no pickes & only 1 kind of cookie available at just 6pm. Service was ok, they didn't get mad despite the never ending crowd, but definitely had also lost their smile.I dunno it's really the food or because sitting among a noisy crowd in a packed non-enclosed area, the bread didn't taste as good as other branches, abit soggy. The Soda was not gassy, but I realize most Subway branches' soft drinks are not gassy. The cookie was yummy though.I think it'll be alot better if it's a non-IT fiar day~ continue reading
