Didn't know there is a Candy Empire located at basement two of Changi Airport Terminal 3.I bought a pack of meringue for my children as they love sweet stuff. There are two types of colour in the pack, pink and white. I find that the pink ones has a nice rose smell. These are very sweet, the ingredients are mainly sugar and egg white. I think the meringue can be used to decorate a cake if you have problem piping nice swirl of cream onto it continue reading

Love the sweets here. There's all sorts of imports frlom all over the world and since it's X'mas they have even more chocolates and sweets. A lot of the shelves get empty quickly. Love this chocolate which is the European version of Ovaltine chocolate. I love Ovaltine chocolates and lollies! Although I don't like Ovaltine as a drink...Not cheap but the imported stuff just tastes different and often much better than the local stuff... Love the nougat at this shop too. Also imported. I love whole bars of nougat. But the nougat is even more expensive than chocolates! continue reading

Candy candy candy~ Candy Empire stocks up on biscuits, sweets and chocolates that can't be found in Singapore, and I love going there and just walking around, staring at the vast numbers of confectionary they offer This time, I bought 'Millions', a jar of small teeny chewy bits of candy in cola flavour, which I think is the best flavour, compared to orange, strawberry, bubblegum and whatnot I particularly like this, as it can be given even as a gift! The cola taste is real good, and I enjoy chewing it, even though it can get irritating cause of its inevitability to get stuck in your teeth, but it's worth all the joy you get My friends love it too! continue reading

After trying the other two flavours of the Roc & Roll's, I decided to try the Hot and Spicy too to determine which is my favourite. The Roc & Roll's chips are basically like chachos, but rolled up. The Hot and Spicy flavouring wasn't too spicy. However, it was tasty along with the chips. In fact, it was so good I had the whole packet in one seating. It costs $3.50 and its probably tied for the best flavour with Tomato flavour. continue reading
