The day of my visit, food tends to be a bit disappointment but with the owners being very open-minded in my honest feedback. I'm looking forward to their improvements My favourite (despite a minor dissatisfaction) would be the durian cheesecake and aglio olio. The cheesecake was done differently this time for us, usually was in cake form. It tasted quite a nice combination. I would think it would taste better with the cake form as it must be tasted together with the crust to bring out the cheesecake flavour. Personally I think the desserts have rooms for improvements. Take note that the cafe is NEA-approved pets cafe so be mindful if you are afraid of cats like me. Check out the other dishes I've tried at http://nkikichua.blogspot.sg/2014/07/happy-3-bites-cafe-everton-park.html continue reading

Full review of dishes http://jacqsowhat.blogspot.sg/2014/06/happy-3-bites-cafe-everton-park.htmlBeing the newest kid on the Everton Park block, you will find NEA-approved pets cafe, Happy 3 Bites. It's cosy and pretty nice ambience to chill, with menu items incorporating a local touch to western cuisine. What's unique about them - being pet-friendly! The menu is pretty extensive considering the shoe box kitchen. Ranging from various mains and desserts to choose from, as well as waffles made with pandan batter.Overall, some were above average while others fell short of our expectations. It was decent but the big breakfast was a big disappointment Given the big quantity and affordable prices, this would be an ideal place to chill over dinner without burning a hole in your pockets. continue reading

Happy3 Bites Cafe is the newest kid on the block in the heavily gen-trified Everton Park area, which is already occupied by several cafes such as Batterworks, Just Want Coffee and Audacious Cakery just to name a few. Unlike the other cafes within the neighbourhood, Happy3 Bites Cafe takes a different approach to their business; by being an NEA-approved pet cafe. That means that pet owners are allowed to bring their pets and spend quality time together; a smart move as the cafe is just located a few spaces away from a veterinary. We were filling full when we visited, so we decided to skip the mains and order the appetizers. The Portobello with Asparagus ($5.90) came with three sautéed Portobellos, asparagus and garden salad. The Portobellos had a hint of garlic amongst other condiments, which was bursting with flavour and juicy. The asparagus was a good compliment to the mushrooms which were light and refreshing, and the cherry tomatoes were soft and not too sour. There were two choices of waffles available; we got the Chocolate Chip Banana Waffles ($8.90). A standard waffle with a pandan batter, it reminded us of a waffle from neighbourhood bakeries, though the chocolate chips and chocolate ice-cream were a bit too overpowering for the batter. It would also help if the bananas were caramalised to enhance the flavour of the dish.Coffee here is by Nescafe Milano. I had the Americano ($3.00) which was aromatic but felt somewhat watered down. For more photos and the full review, please visit: http://jiaksimipng.wordpress.com/2014/02/09/happy3-bites-cafe-everton-park/ continue reading
