Signature Dishes
Located at famous tourist hawker centre, it appeared lively and noisy always. Spotted a decent stall with many dishes photo on signboard, we decided to check it out. Smoky aroma from far away, boss will deliver our orders to our place. What we need to do was sat down and waiting, grilling time was around 20 minutes. Atmosphere was a bit hot, yet still can feel some breeze occasionally.Seafood was grilled on the spot upon ordered, generous amount of Sambal given. Slightly burnt with the spicy shiokness, it heavily stroked my taste buds like thunder. This would be the best Stingray and Sotong I had tried, drizzle of lime was heaven. Fresh and succulent supper, fish gave firm texture and delightful enjoyment. Good food at affordable price, it was definitely great place to have supper.

To end off my 23rd birthday celebration, darling treat me to a crab meal which I always wanted for this 23 birthday celebration. As usual the night spot meal for seafoods,we had it at newton, this time round we had the crab and hope to be lucky, was recommended to BBQ pepper crab but stiller decided to choose the chili crab and yea it taste well although we wish to have more meat haha, the crab shell was easy to open as the rack line has been nicely created unlike some other place ps where it is harder to eat the crab. The meat taste well on it own and together with the sauce although the presentation of the crab was abit unpleasant, I was just lucky to have the last crab there for the day so no much complaint. The staff was friendly and the environment as usual there alway an Aunty who will be selling some tissue there if u d not have enough tissue hehe although it was provided together with the lime water to wash the hand, overall the price was abit expensive fora small crab but withe nice food and service for special occasion alright made it worth, I enjoy it

As I was feeling hungry and having cravings for stingray, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Newton Food Centre for supper. Some of our favorites from this stall includes the stingray and fried rice.The stingray we ordered was perfect! Usually I can't take very spicy food but in this dish the sambal chilli was not overly spicy and was bearable. The stingray was fresh and the meat had just the right texture and was not overly chewy.LikesSambal ChilliDislikesNothing.Spending: $15 for a medium size portion of stingray. More than enough for 2 people.

Few of our friends suggested that we try out the seafood at Newton food centre,so last evening,we ended up there. Loved the place,since there is a wide variety to choose from and the atmosphere is great with an open air sit out arrangement. . We tried out the chilli squid, morning glory, seafood fried rice & garlic prawns. The squid was very tasty & spicy. morning glory & rice were nice as well. The prawn were a rip off. They weren't that big,yet the price was 10$ per prawn, it wasn't so tasty as well. Overall food was great. Nice place for seafood lovers.
