i went here for breakfast, no queue though because its holiday now. one bowl noodle cost $2, the auntie will ask whether you want the $2, $2.50 or $3 bowl.. I ordered $2.50, quantity given was generous, very filling breakfast (feel sleepy after that haha) Noodles was average though including the ingredients on top of noodles (filling), the fishballs were tasty (Bouncy and Yummy). Soup is acceptable. environment was clean (no left over plates), the cleaners here are very hardworking smile continue reading

It consists of 4 wanton in the noodle and also a bowl of soup. We can also ask the level of the spicyness for our dish. The price is considerably cheap for what we were given and the taste of the noodle is very chewy. Mixed with soya sauce, chilli, or both, the noodles are thicker than the usual mee from neighbourhood kopitiam. Love it. lol continue reading

This you mian with dumpling soup was quite delicious! I loved the meaty wanton and peppery soup. The dumpling skin is very soft and thin,it match well with the tender and juicy meat.So it taste nice. The char siew is flavourful too, and tender and well marinated. So it make the mian flavourful.Do add some chili,it make the mian taste nicer. However,i dont like the soup as it taste like adding too much of ajinomoto. continue reading

I was doing my Final Year Project in sch and as it was lunchtime, I decided to go down to South Canteen to have my lunch as I was lazy to walk all the way to Koufu at the main block. As alwys, i made my way straight to the noodles stall, and without having to say anything, the uncle will know what I wanted. Fishball Kuay Teow. The only difference? Soup or Dry. Haha! Today I decided to have to dry version. As it was the holidays, there wasnt any queue so it was my turn. I told uncle i wanted the dry version, with little chilli. The uncle is really gd, he would ask me if i wanted vegetables with it (only during less crowded times then he will ask this), haha! The auntie who manned the cashier is also very friendly, i passed her the $2 for my noodles. The $2 one is enough for me, but then now the price have increased, there is no more $2 one alrdy, minimum is $2.50. Sometimes, only the uncle is ard and so there will b a longer wait as it is a one man show. The chilli he added is really spicy, so i usually ask for a less spicy dry version. The noodles are cooked just rite, not too soggy. There are four fishballs, though i usually eat 3only, and leave one uneaten. Haha! The fishballs are ok only, not those fantastic kind but gd enough to keep me going back for more. continue reading
