So French yet so Korean. Paris Baguette, a Korean cafe famous for its wide selection of bakery products, desserts and beverages.I was first attracted to their beautiful cakes at their Wisma Atria outlet few years back and visited them mainly for their cakes and breads thereafter.Their selection has grown over the years and there are so many varieties that they are offering now.The long overdue visit to savour their brunch menu has finally been fulfilled.Cheese Omelette with a Difference (S$18)Omelette is filled with spinach, gruyere and feta cheese. Spinach was cooked till soft and you can taste the cheese in every bite. The wedges are crispy and so piping hot that my tongue was scorched at the very first bite of it. No wonder this is their bestseller.  A very cheesy and tasty dish that all cheese lovers should give it a shot. However, felt that it's a little too cheesy to finish this all by yourself.Cheese Egg Benedict (S$15)Topped with bacon, halloumi cheese & cheddar cheese sauce, this egg benedict is the best that I have tasted thus far. Flame melted cheddar cheese wraps the egg yolk nicely preventing it from bursting but the yolk is so runny that it flows out with just a prick. The saltiness of the bacon adds flavour to this dish complementing the rest.Cafe Latte (S$6)A shot of espresso + steamed hot milk. Coffee and milk lovers craving fulfilled at one go.Mango Latte (S$9)Freshly made mango puree + milk. Very strong milk taste and it does taste a little like the Indian lassi, minus the yoghurt.Being an ardent fan of desserts, the meal is not complete without satisfying my sweet tooth.Oh~My Baby Crepe~ (S$8)Short cake with layers of crepe filled with fresh strawberries. A light and soft textured cake that is not too sweet.Cookie Macaron (S$5.50)New kid on the block - cookies and cream macaron ice cream. Pairing with ice cream, this soft chewy macaron does not taste as sweet as the usual. A very good creation that can compete with all the ice cream sandwiches out there. continue reading
