The cafe is newly opened and located across the Sembawang Shopping Centre. The cafe sells a range of ice-creams, as well as, cakes and drinks. The place is decorated with pictures of trees on the white walls. The dine in area mostly consists of stools, but there are also 2 sofas by the wall. There is also free wifi available in this cafe (just remember to ask the staff for the password). There is also water available at the counter to help yourself to.Waffle with a scoop of ice-cream ($7)I have ordered this with a scoop of Heavenly Hazelnut ice-cream. The waffle is freshly made and smells quite nicely while making. Although crispy, I feel that it is not fluffy enough. The ice cream tastes quite creamy with a strong taste of hazelnut. No wonder the staff said that this ice cream is very popular.Brownie with ice-cream ($7)I have ordered this with Rich Chocolate ice-cream. The brownie is heated up in the mini toaster before serving. Although the brownie looks dry, inside it is quite moist and rich. Topped with the rich and chocolaty ice-cream, it is a sinfully chocolate heaven.Overall the food is not bad, but I feel the menu is a bit limited. Maybe the drink menu can expanded further. continue reading

The Brownie is, despite being heated up, too hard to cut into. The taste, however is great and it is not too crumbly. The Gula Gao Gao Melaka ice cream has a strong taste of Gula Melaka and is sweet but melted too easily.Though the food here definitely needs some improvement, it will have time to do so as it is only days into its opening. As cafes or ice cream parlours in the north are still quite scarce at this point of time, this is one place that should definitely be visited if you are around the Sembawang / Yishun area, before/after having White Beehoon at You Huak Restaurant or shopping opposite at Sembawang Shopping Centre! continue reading
