Food Review: Healthy & Tasty Burgers at VeganBurg
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat healthy fast food? We couldn't stop thinking about it so we headed down there with a few OpenRicers for a food tasting! VeganBurg, as its name suggests, is a vegan burger bistro. Still a relatively new chain, it's becoming more and more popular with vegans and non-vegans alike. So, we were all excited to try their offerings.
Stepping into Veganburg, the whole concept looked really cute and quirky, with an all natural feel - neutral colours of white and brown were used with plenty of woodwork; they even had patches of astro-turf (fake grass) as décor and seating cushions.
First to arrive were the pretty starters and sides: Vegan Franks (tofu hotdogs), Handmade Spinach Pops (crispy potato spinach pops), and Seaweed Fries. The hotdogs were made of soy, but tasted and looked exactly like meat! Together with the starters were a selection of chillers, Tangerine Crush, Lemon Loco and Citron Cooler, that quenched our thirst and whetted our appetites for the mains.
The burgers came soon after, nicely arranged as mini-burgers on platters so that we could enjoy all the goodness ahead of us. The variety of burgers was huge, with the Cracked Pepper Mayo Burger, Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger, Char-Grilled Satay Burger, Smoky BBQ Burger, Creamy Shrooms Burger and their special edition, Chilli Krabby Burger!
The members particularly liked the Creamy Shrooms Burger, with its non-dairy cream and juicy button mushrooms, as well as the healthy Cracked Pepper Mayo Burger, which contains Omega 3 and 6, as well as zinc.

By the end of the food tasting session, we were stuffed to the brim and feeling very happy, all thanks to VeganBurg and their meat-free burgers!
