If you are on a tight budget and looking for a meal below $10, you may want to check out Olive Vine. Their mains are under $10 and there are no GST, service charge and MSG in their food. For an additional $4, you can upgrade to a Deluxe Set Meal which comes with a soup, drink and dessert.
The soup of the day was creamy and of decent portion. The drinks were unfortunately very sweet. The mains at below $10 each were definitely value for money with the huge serving. For dessert my favourite was the Tapioca cake. It had a nice balance of sweetness and I enjoyed biting into the grated tapioca texture with each bite of the cake. The pastry of the Coconut Pie was nicely cooked and crispy but lacked of coconut flavour. Overall Olive Vine served value for money food. Food wise I think there are still rooms for improvement.
I can say this Western restaurant serves one of the best chocolate brownies in town. The dark chocolate flavour for their brownie is really fragrant and delicious. Lots of chocolate chips can be found in the brownie as well. Moreover, with their cooling sweet ice cream topped on it, this makes the mixture of hot and cold desserts taste heavenly good! Just by having one serving will really satisfy you. You may also want to consider to share with your partner this dessert if you decided to have their main course (which the portions are quite big).

Oliverine Pasta Fusion serves a wide variety of pasta. I ordered the olio seafood pasta. The pasta is served in a generous portion, with lots of fresh seafood. There are prawns, squids and fish slices. I paid around $16 for the pasta. The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable, great for dining with friends.

Marina link is quite new for me. I stepped into this restaurant because it’s recommended by my friend. This café do not charge you the additional server charges and tax. The price that you see is the final price that you need to pay. What a surprise. Their price is quite low and affordable. Although they do not charge for extra service charge but their service level is good.
They have a large variety of food but mainly western food. You can find curry chicken, porridge, steak, sandwich, chicken cutlet, and grilled fish in the menu. They do not incur the service charge so you need to approach the counter to make your orders. You can top-up $2 for any dish to make it a set meal that will come with a drink, if I am not mistaken. For premium set meal, you need to top up $4 to get drinks, soup and dessert. The soup is creamy and nice. I love the small garlic bread on the soup, crunchy and garlic smell is wonderful. For the main course, I chose Spicy Arrabiata with Chicken Cutlet. You can choose the non-spicy one as well. The spaghetti is cooked perfectly, it’s spicy and tastier than the spaghetti that I ate in some restaurants. The chicken cutlet is super big, I am shocked when the serving crew served me the food. The portion is far bigger than I expected. For girls, I suggest you to share the meal. For the desert, I chose Rum Ball. Although I couldn’t smell rum inside the cake but I am enjoying the taste. As for the drink, it’s gave me another shock. I never see a café/ restaurant provide a large drink for a set meal. For my set meal, I spent $13.90 nett. I couldn’t believe myself, for this amount of money, I’ve enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a satisfied stomach. For sure, I will visit this café again!
