I was kind of lazy to go out so I decided to go to the nearest coffee shop to da bao lunch. When I got there, there was nothing much to eat, so I settled for the roasted delights. This time I ordered the char siew roast pork rice. They were very generous with the gravy, drenched my rice and meats with the gravy. But it was not a bad thing cos the gravy quite tasty, it was sweetish and salty as the same time. The char siew was roasted perfectly. The meat was very tender and had a little charred bits here and there. The roast pork was very fragrant and crispy, went really well with the rice. And for this amount of food, I paid a really reasonable amount of $3.50 for it.
This stall offers many different types of roasted meat such as roasted chicken, roasted duck, roasted pork belly, roasted char siew and etc. One of my favourite is their char siew rice, which the char siew meat has been roasted really well with some 'over cooked' parts which make it reall fragrant. Moreover the meat itself is also very tender, juicy and not too oily. Especially love the dark thick sweet sauce which pour over to the fragrant plain rice and the char siew is heavenly delicious! The price is really reasonable and is popular for alll age groups.

Apparently the roasted stall at limbang has changed ownership. I decided to try out their duck rice. Now they offer various set meal. I took up set A which is the roasted duck set. It has vegetables, wanton soup on top of the normal roasted duck. Their roast duck skin was not too crispy, I think they did not roast it long enough. The met as ok, very tender and they gave quite a lot of pieces as well. The vegetables had oyster sauce drizzled on top, it was not too bad as well. There were two wanton in the soup. The wanton were rather large and had meat and prawns in it. The soup was rather tasty as well. I was pretty satisfied with the meal!
I ordered the roast duck rice for dinner one day. I also requested for the duck to be boneless as I hate to chew the meat off the bones which will make my meal very hassle. The boneless roast duck was delicious as now I can focus on tasting the meat instead of having to debone it myself. The meat is soft and tender and the skin is also crisp and tasty. The gravy that topped the meat was also very nicely seasoned. A pleasant meal indeed!
I ordered a roast duck plus roasted char siew rice from the roasted stall at limbang. It cost me four dollars which was rather reasonable for two meats. Lucky for me, I was not a big eater cos the portion of rice they gave was very miserable. For me it was just enough, but I am not too sure about others.
