white coffee bolo bun 90cents - I like how the bun has a crisp exterior crust and soft interior. There's a taste of coffee although not strong. It is something different from the usual bolo bun so if you like coffee, you can try this.char-siew bolo bun 95cents - I'm not a fan of char-siew so this tasted average for me. The level of sweetness was just right. black sesame and peanut bun 90cents - This is one of my favourite buns! when I bought this, it was warm so it tasted even better. The fusion of black sesame and peanut went so well together that I was rather surprised by how good it tasted. Initially I didn't want to get this as it didn't sound like a safe bet but I was glad I did. I recommend you to try this!! continue reading

i ordered my coconut bun from baker talent. it costs 80 cents and i find it so nice and awesome. It was soft and chewy and i like the coconut juice from splashing out from the fillings! it was also quite warmth so i think it was just fresh baked from the oven. The glazing they did on the bread was evenly spread out thus making it very appealing to the customers. But one coconut bun is too small to fill my stomach. continue reading

FoodIt was a rainy Sunday afternoon and business was somehow bring to a halt by the bad weather. The usual crowded Baker Talent's queue was no where to be seen. Cheers to the bad weather that make me first in the queue. Looking at the available range of bread, I had decided to opt for those that I had not tried before.Hotdog and chicken floss, S$0.95, the hotdog was cut into smaller pieces and stuff in between the buns. Quite a different chew from other bakeries as the usual bakeries will either provide half a hotdog or 1 hotdog to go along with the bun.Lemon Cheese, S$0.90 has remind me of the lemon biscuits from Khong Guan. Bread is soft and chewy with generous amount of cheese with lemon taste. Amount of cheese is just right and I wont feel "jerlak" after eating the bun. The exterior of the bun is coated with some flour and one has to be careful while eating.ServiceService is prompt - as we approach the shop, they asked if they can help us and let us have the time considering what buns to have.AmbienceBaker talent is tucked at the corner of the run down shopping centre, as compared to other shops, baker talent itself is bright and spacious with the aroma from the baking lingering along the corridoors.PriceBaker Talent provides a competitive pricing at less than a dollar as compared to other bakeriesRecommendation / TipsThe buns are freshly baked from the oven daily. If you are lucky enough, you get to have a hot bun! continue reading
