It’s around 10pm and they are having the promotion of $12 for 10 breads. For some breads I don’t recognize, I do not know what flavor they are as they have removed the tags of the bread. Two that I ate was the pepper dog bread and another one which I’m unsure of the flavor. After trying it tastes like coconut with some raisins sprinkled at the top.The bread texture is fluffy and soft.It is quite plain without any fillings within and the coconut flavor is not too strong. It is not too bland and the sweetness level is moderate, so I quite like it ;DThe pepper dog is always what I will get if it is available. The black pepper hot dog is in a whole and it is not too spicy and the flavor is just right. The bread texture is chewy and soft. The price for the pepper dog is $1.50 which is quite worth it when I bought it during the night promotion. One thing I dislike about getting breads from breadtalk is that their trays are always oily, where I will always get my hands dirty after buying the breads :x continue reading

Bought this japan light cheese cake from breadtalk. Well, basically i think this cake is quite common. It would be better that the cheese flavour would be stronger. This cake makes a perfect snack! I would say that the cheese cake is taste best when pair with coffee If you would really desire for a cheap cheese cake then i would suggest you to buy from breadtalk; not the best but better than nothing. continue reading

First time bought this cake as my friend's birthday cake. I bought the regular size 6". My friend loved it and said that it was yummy as she don't like sweet stuff. The cake is coated with green tea powder. However, the sponge cake was very soft and not much cream. continue reading

I finally tried the black pepper floss that is recently introduced by Breadtalk. I also voted for the black pepper instead of the squid ink floss in the poll, hence I was curious to find out what exactly is the taste of the winning floss bread. I was actually quite disappointed with the taste. Instead of the mayo, the centre filling contains some mock crabmeat, which is really quite a bad choice in my opinion. The sauce used with the crabmeat makes one feel sick to the stomach after eating half of the bun. The black pepper floss itself is just ok, I would prefer the normal or fire floss anytime. Once is enough. continue reading

One afternoon, my friends and I decided to get some bread from BreadTalk. I bought a black pepper tuna bun and 'mr hokkaido' bread to try. The black pepper tuna bun tasted rather salty and pepperish. Not exactly to my liking. Rather, I enjoyed the hokkaido bread as it tasted sweet with red and white kidney beans. Notice that they don't have this flavor displayed in most of their outlets these days.. continue reading
