breadtalk has nice breads. love the european ones like the fig and dates one. it is a very hard bread and is best eaten with butter. it only gets harder over time, so not good to keep it. the figs and dates make the bread nice and sweet to go well with butter. it is also made in handy single serves so you do not need to cut or divide it. love the nice brown colour and the freshness. it is fragrant and very moreish. about $2.50 continue reading

Always love to eat the different types of breads and pastries from Breadtalk. Was quite curious with the bottle kaya selling at their outlets so decided to buy back and check it out. To my disappointment the taste was really flat and not really that tasty. The kaya is not as fragrant as what I have expect it to be and the portion is consider not really that generous for the price of three dollars and fifty cents per bottle. continue reading

This is the second time time that I have tried the mango cakes from Breadtalk. The previous time I ate it was at someone's birthday and this time it is also for other people's birthday celebration. It seems like the people around me all happened to have a particular liking towards this cake. I love its lovely bright yellow colour of the cake which is very visually nice. Of course, the taste of the mango cake is also delicious. The cake is moist and a little spongy so it is not too heavy on the palette. The mango fragrance is from real fruit and not those artifical mango flavourings which is what I really love about this cake. The cake to cream ratio is very balanced as well. I will urge mango lovers to get this as you will not be disappointed. continue reading

The outlet is relatively quieter as compared to those outlets in the heartland malls. I was there on a weekday and there is only one other customer in the shop choosing the breads besides me. There are many breads available but I choose the Floss bun since it had been sometime since I ate that. What i like about this Floss bread is that the bread is soft and the floss on top of the bread is quite a lot as well. Eaten together, it is tasty. Service is fast which is great since I am rushing for time. continue reading

This is my regular choice from Breadtalk. Something rather unusual and exclusively available at Breadtalk as i have yet to find this at its competitors. The Naan Bread is a kind of indian long flat bread with ghee and curry. I enjoyed the little meaty filling with a nicely distinctive indian curry taste. But the edge of this bread can be a little too hard to my liking. But no matter, this is still my favorite bread at this bakery, ideal for tea break with coffee.Recommended. continue reading
