Signature Dishes
Non-dairy milk drinks are few and far between in Singapore. The matcha oat milk latte at brother bird is the best I’ve had in Singapore, with a steep price to match. It’s 6.50 for a latte, and you need to add one dollar to make it iced and another dollar to swap to oat milk. The matcha quality is excellent and the drink is silky, rich and robust. But 8.50 for a latte is steep… Will be coming back occasionally when my matcha cravings peak and if I can not find a suitable, cheaper alternative.

A newly opened cafe along Bali Lane. It is decorated in a clean cut look. The menu available currently is quite limited, only 2 choices of soft serve, rice donut with soft serve, coffee and tea.Honey-Dew Sago Soft Serve ($5.50)pandan & coconut soft-serve, honeydew "sago" coconut tulies & fresh honeydewInteresting flavour of soft serve although the flavour is abit light. Creamy and soft in texture, except for the bottom half which is quite hard and frozen in texture.Service is not bad. Although only one staff at the counter, he takes order, collects payment and serves food and water to the table. Service is slow but no choice as there is only one staff. You also order from the menu of Stateland Cafe which the staff will bring over from the cafe 2 shops away.

As I was craving for sweet bites over the weekend, I went to HoneyComb to satisfy my craving but I was welcome with new born brand taking over the space. Brother Bird is actually under the same people behind Stateland Café currently having soft opening for almost a week now. There aren’t many changes on the interior design of the space though.There are only 2 signature artisanal soft serve available at this moment which is Honeydew Sago and Cookie Butter Softserve at S$5.50 each. The ordering and payment to be made at the counter. The staff will then serve the softserve.I ordered both to try. Both stood out with individual taste and I prefer Honeydew flavor. It has the fruity taste and feels refreshing with the combination. Cookie Butter is not bad too but I would prefer to share as the sea salt taste is slightly stronger and almond crunch is quite addictive to munch.Hopefully they will come out for more flavours so that I can return to try again. If I were to choose, I would prefer this than Honeycomb. Coffees are available too.
