Long Beach is one of my most frequent seafood restaurant especially for it's location and parking really makes it easy to get there. (And its free parking for 1st 3hrs!)I love one of their special dishes there, which is the steam crabs with eggs. It's really good! You can really taste the sweetness of the crabs' flesh, and once, my family ate the 2.8 kg crab! One crab weighing 2.8KG! It was really a feast. I realize not many restaurants offer steam crabs with eggs because the complexity of steaming manipulation.
I know tons of Singaporeans love their black pepper crab (or Chili crab), but to me.. I'm prefer simplicity to taste most original flavor of the crab.
Other side dishes.
Asam Patin Fish: Fish is fresh, springy, smooth and taste great with the asam chili that whets your appetite
Cereal Prawns: Good crunch and you can even eat it with it's shell on!
Sambal kangkong: Quite average to me
Another specialty that I like is the Spring onion fried frog legs (tian ji). It's really delicious and not every restaurant offer this in their menu.
