We settled on a half chicken with 2 sides which are wedges and olive rice that costs $14.90. As we tucked into our succulent black pepper sauce roast chicken with meat that peeled smoothly off the bone, we almost felt like we were in an American diner. Javier’s is 100 percent casual, but with top-notch service and excellent food (price and location considered) it proves that casual can trump up-market.
