I went to Halo after-work with a group of 6 colleagues. When I first saw this chill-out rooftop bar I immediately thought I'd be coming back here regularly , but the food and drinks were so disappointing I don't think I'd go back.

It was Thursday night and the drink special was mojitos. If you're going to specifically make a mojito promotion, you should probably ensure that the bartender knows how to make a mojito. 3 of us ordered a mojito as our first drink, but switched to house-pour and beer after. I have never been a bartender, but can certainly make a better mojito than what we had at Halo.

So then we started ordering finger foods... the fries were luke-warm and served without any dipping sauce and the crispy squid was so burnt that no one ate it. If the waiter had ever come to check how our table was doing, we would have sent them back. On the positive, the spring rolls were fine (store-bought) and the bread with chorizo was actually pretty yummy.

As mentioned, the service was completely indifferent. When a couple more people arrived and joined our group, no one bothered to come see if they wanted a drink - we had to spend minutes trying to get their attention. Same thing when we wanted new drinks. And this wasn't even on a busy night.
