My friend and I ordered a you tiao and it was rather crispy and expanded-looking. I tried eating it with the cold beancurd andthey did not go well together. Normally people would dip it into hot soya bean milk so that it would not feel so dry. We both had the cold beancurd as that day the weather was rather humid and hot. I was glad that it was not overly sweet too.
