I entered Republic Poly in 2007 and left in 2010. This place has maintained the same standard for the past few years that i have been there. All i have to say is that when i first entered and as a new student, you are getting used to the food and the new place you can't decide on where you are going to have your breaks or your lunch. The first day that i came here, i ate at this very stall. Back then it was called "Indonesian BBQ" with $2.80... ayam bakar (Grilled chicken and sweet sauce) with rice.... It was served with egg and the coconut curry as i can clearly remember.

Before i left school, I had the dish again and tried the ayam penyet. (Fried Smash chicken) served with the same items and the sambal wah... sedap la sia... Sedap to the max but... there is always a but in here.... It costs up to $4.50 before i left. That was the last of what i saw back in 2010.

Good days as Times change and prices fly....
