I have heard about a stall selling xiao long bao for only $5 in Chinatown but have not gotten down to trying it until today. The xiao long bao costs $5 for 10 pieces which I think is one of the cheapest xiao long bao that you can find. The xiao long bao are made fresh on the spot and the xiao long bao is actually quite large. The xiao long bao skin thickness is just right, thick enough to hold all the soup of the xiao long bao and yet not too thick until it affect the taste of the xiao long bao.

The soup is very tasty and although it does not rival that of din tai fung, it is still worth coming here for a cheaper xiao long bao craving. There are also vinegar and shredded ginger available which you can add to your xiao long bao.
