Sophie bakery is one of the many french bakeries that has came to our little island. I feel that it is also one of the cheaper french bakery compared to many others. I particularly like their fruit tarts which comes in a handful of flavours such as longan, peach and strawberry. Do note that ll of the fruit tarts have the same base, just different fruit toppings. One this particular day, i chose the peach tart ($5). Half a neatly sliced peach was placed in top of their delicious tart base that features a light fragipane cream in a crispy, buttery tart shell. There was only a small dollop of custard cream to hold the peach on top of the tart base, making it a good choice for people who do not like creamy stuff.
