It was a Saturday night and we decided to take a visit to the east side. Jackson Fried Hokkien Mee was introduced to me and I was told is one of the recommended must try. I was rather disappointed by the fried Hokkien Mee. Although it was consistently fried with pork lard bits added to level up its fragrance, it was lacking the oomph! The ratio of yellow noodles and white noodles was about 1:1.Prawns was rather stinky and the prawn stock that those mee was fried in was of the ordinary standard - tasteless.
