Signature Dishes
The cafe was opened in Sept by local actor Chew Chor Meng and his wife Deon Tan. It was the second outlet after the first one in Holland Village. The 65-seat café houses a London Tube and an English Garden. A red British postbox is placed outside the new branch for customers who are upset to pen down their feelings. We were showed a table at English Garden area as little JJ was struck with the swing at one of the tables. He was so in love with the swing that he wanted one at home.Spiral Galaxy ($15++)Green tea and grape juice with a spiralling visual treat.The tea change to purplish colour when mixed with the juice. The golden dust gave the drink a shimmering colour. It tasted light and refreshing.Coconut Infused Cold Brew ($9.50++)A multi-sensory experience with coconut-infused coffee.The drink was presented with lots of smoke from the dry ice. The coffee, smelt of roasted coconut, tasted not bad with hints of the coconut aftertaste.Hot Chocolate Surprise ($7.50++)A chocolate sphere, served with hot chocolate. When the hot drink was poured over the sphere, it revealed a marshmallow in it.D'Lobster Roll ($22++)Prepared from live Boston lobster. 100grams of claw and tail flesh, tarragon mayonnaise and chips.The roll was great although I wish for more sauce.LING Cod Fish and Chips ($22++)Cod fish, straight cut fish, tartar sauce and malt vinegarAlthough it sounded quite expensive, the fish was quite meaty and juicy.Pomegranate Citrus Smoked Duck ($13++)Smoked duck, pomegranate, mandarin orange, pear, greens, caramelized walnuts and citrus sauce.The pancake served here was not the usual type but Deutsch Skillet Pancake. It had a eggy texture which tasted more like Nian Gao 年糕.Overall the food was delicious. There was 10% discount for senior citizens. The staff were knowledgeable and spot on for their recommendations.

Generally it was good.The cakes I wanted to try were all sold out at that time, but I would come back again and take a try. Pancake was just ok to me, but my friend loves it.
