This packet of nasi lemak cost only $1.80. But it was extremely satisfying. The pandan rice was really fragrant. The chilli was also really good. There was otak that came with it. The tea here is also always consistent. it's fragrant and not overly sweet. There is good amount of tea in it which makes me feel it is value for money. I enjoy it every time I have my tea here. continue reading

Mee rebus is not a dish that I order regularly. This time though, the mee rebus was pretty satisfactory. This simple dish was really affordable at less than $3 per bowl of noodles. It came with a whole egg as well as taupok pieces to top the mound of yellow noodles. The gravy was pretty tasty, of the right consistency with good flavour. The noodles were super duper spicy though! continue reading
