This simple sponge cake may look unattractive by its simple appearance, but the taste is really delicious. The pandan sponge is very soft and moist even though looks really compact. The vanilla fresh cream spread in between it are very smooth, light and not too sweet. Good to cut into at least full five to six big slices from it. Great to have it with a cup of coffee or tea.

Juz Bread is the 'Chinese' kind of bakery with strong white lighting as soon as you step in. They have a wide variety of bread with assorted fillings like black pepper chicken, egg mayo, hot dog, kaya, custard, etc. The kitchen inventory at home was running low on bread hence I only thought of getting a plain loaf. I bought the walnut and grains loaf that had no filling inside. It wasn't fantastic as the bread was rather hard and the flour quality was bad, however the bakery was really generous with the walnuts and grains. I don't regret my choice but I wouldn't consider getting bread from here again.
