We were strolling along down duxton area and decided to try eat something healthy for a change since we often eat all the hawker/junk food (that sinfully tastes so so good).the ambient was really nice. Cooling. reading material magazines and there were art pieces for sale even. Nice place to sit down with a book to read and sipping on your favourite drink. Enjoy life cos life is good.We ordered Tomato Beef + Tuna crepe. Wow, they were crispy on the outside (soft skin on the inner radius!), and meaty goodness on the inside. Also had the peppermint tea to pair off with. everything just felt like it was so healthy you'd live another day longer in your intended lifespan.The only problem was parking is quite limited (this area also quite on the ball summon.) and the crepe was messy to eat, that's why there's the bowl + paper to hold it together + under. Don't be expecting to eat like a dainty little lady.

What i had: Regular Crepe with Choco Banana and mixed nuts, Capuccino. What my friend had: Buckwheat crepe with tomato beef & fresh vege, mocca. Crepe is nice, hot and crispy but the coffee has nothign to shout about. The menu board will assist you in your crepe selection, somewhat like how subway do it.There are mainly 2 types of crepe, sweet more for desserts and the savoury ones which is good for meals. Also they do not provide utensils so you will have to eat yr crepe like a bread. Anyway the place is nicely decorated with a small chill out section inside with lower table and stools. Seems to be a phillipino cafe by the sight of just the two of them. Did not greet upon entering and did not give a care in the world. Next time can come in and just have a seat without ordering anythingGot a tomato beef and I must say, the ratings that I have seen so far did not meet my expectations. Nothing much for a savoury crepe, have had better ones. For this price, I'd think of sticking to other delicacies.

My quest for crepes in Singapore ends at Keen On Crepes, not that it has the best crepes but cuz it’s the last of the 4 creperies I know that exist on our little island. This is a new creperie that has opened since April 2010 and has quite a low profile so far. Which makes me wonder how long it can survive, given the competitive F&B environment in Singapore, hmm.Like Out of the Pan, these are not the authentic French crepes. More like fusion crepes, filled with spices and homemade legume-based spreads. The crepes are freshly made to order and prices are extremely reasonable (less than $10). Great for a healthy and light meal!To show you how healthy the crepe can be, take a look at this crepe named “Light yet Wholesome” ($5), a hearty wholewheat crepe with egg, cheese, vegetables and pesto.I, on the other hand, didn’t have anything that healthy. Rather than choosing the fixed combinations on the menu, I decided to build my own crepe. Easily done by following these 4 steps: 1. choose a crepe (whole wheat, 7 grains, persian spice); 2. choose a spread (hummus, dhal, egg); 3. choose fillings (chicken, beef, mushroom); and 4. choose toppings (beetroot, cheese, sprouts).Ta-da, here’s my customised crepe: buckwheat crepe with mushrooms, spicy hummus, vegetables and basil pesto ($8)! It tastes surprisingly good, hee.We feel that the crepes here are like Indian roti prata, only much healthier! And I thought I needed to eat two to be full initially (I was very hungry that day, you see) but it’s filling enough! Good value for money, I’ll be back.

I bumped into this place after my wedding gowns selection. (There is a row of bridal shop opposite). Fiance and me decided to check it out.The place looks clean and neat. It's a very simple dining place.We can choose the type of bread, type of filling, type of spread and toppings. I chose sesame chicken with vegetables. He choose chickpea with mozzarella cheese. It costs us $10+. I wouldn't say it's value for money. The fillings are not generous. But I would say the Crepes are fresh and warm.
